Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomhole, today escaped death in a ghastly car crash, involving his convoy around Ewu village, Auchi-Benin road.
According to reports, the mishap took place around 9.45am, as he made his way to Benin City from his Iyambo village.
The accident occurred when a Peugeot J5 Bus with registration number XB 355 Fugar, which was caarrying tomatoes and plantain lost control and crashed into the governor’s flag car, a BMW bullet proof car, before landing in a ditch.
Governor Oshiomhole’s convoy, had previously been involved in a car last year, after a tipper rammed into his vehicle.
