Tips on securing your phone where cybercrime exists!
1.When browsing or shopping on your phone, always look for "https" in the url instead of "http." which shows an added level of security
2.Don't allow automatic connections.Disabling this option will prevent your phone from connecting and transmitting data without you knowing
3.Treat email and social media requests from strangers suspiciously.Criminals often send requests to people they don't know to gather info.
4.Be a savvy shopper. Make sure you're not being taken in but doing business with legitimate vendors.
5.Check privacy settings on apps.Some apps request a lot of information from you,If they don't need all of that information then deny access
6. Avoid fraudulent Wi-Fi networks.
7. Use better passwords. Avoid using family name's for passwords as it could easily be guessed. Go for secure ones.
